This shade is great. Had it on for about a month now. There are two videos out there for the install. Watch the main one with the guy and girl. The other one tells you to unscrew the guide for the soft top and pull it back for the front two corners. If you do this it leaves too much slack. Just wrap it around the plastic like the girl does and it’s much tighter. This shade works great and blocks out a lot of the sun that makes driving on days that are really hot a pain. Dogs love it too and don’t get too hot while riding. Highly recommended!

Super easy; install 5 min. tops:)... Ordered a grey one by mistake so I gave it to my friend for his yj yes that's right a 89 wrangler yj. It fit awesome and comes down the roll bars in the back to just over the top of the back seats. I guess this would work for a tj as well. I bought a second (black one) and put it on my jku and love it:) Great product and perfectly tight, I have received many compliments/ queries about it:)... BTW the darker color is easier to see through from the inside out:)

This is a great addition to the Jeep Wrangler 4 door.

Product Quality: The fit is good and overall quality is extremely sturdy. The spider balls work well and after having this installed for the last several months I have seen no issues with the elastic failing or stress on any of the grommets or shade material.

Use: When driving with the top back it seemed that the sun was always shining directly in your eyes. The real nice part about having this Spidershade is that you still get the feel of having the top back, but with out the direct sunlight. When parked it is really nice knowing that the interior is not getting baked by the sun! Additionally, there is a noticeable positive difference in wind decrease in the cabin as well. This seems to be very favorable for the wife and teenage daughter who both have long hair.

Installation: I originally installed this with the soft top in the retractable mode (half back) and not all the way back (with windows out). By doing this I found that I was not able to pull the Spidershade back far enough and there was a little slack in the tightness up front by the windshield mounts. I would highly recommend that you put the top all the way back and then install the Spidershade (which is the recommended way). This will make it much easier to install and will help ensure that you have it pulled over the rear roll bar as it should. I leave this on all the time, soft top up or off and find it has no interference in the cabin (6' 3" and my head/hair does not touch the shade ). Note - you do have to remove the left and right windshield mount Spiderballs to secure the soft top latches (center mount always attached), which is only a minor inconvenience. [...]

Overall - great quality product, very easy 5 minute or less install that adds some additional driving comfort to the Jeep Wrangler.

Gets a lot of use and goes on every summer when the hard top comes off. The spider balls still have elasticity after 3 years. It’s great quality. In this day and age to have something that’s lasts 3 seasons plus in the Texas sun is speaking to the quality. Would buy again. Keeps sun off us. Good to go.

In a nutshell, this shade will completely change how we use our JK! Allows us to enjoy cruising without getting overheated - also helps with wind/sound inside the cabin. Amazed, would recommend this to anyone!

I did get a bit concerned during install of the back corners - that the stretch on the spiderballs might break them - but nope. Now we can finally enjoy the Jeep, worry-free!

I just installed this! It is as advertised. Easy install. Watched the video on the website as instructed from packaging (no installation instructions enclosed). Watching video and install by one person took about 20 minutes. So simple! I'll add pictures later, but it fits well. I drove around the block and only got up to 45 mph but it was quiet. Exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend.
