Got my Spiderweb SW1 4D model, I was easy to get on fits snug, the gap on the sides in my opinion is minimal. My soft top fits over with no problems. I am 5′11 and with the seat base completely down and a hat on I can feel it rub a bit on my hat. This is with the seat back up pretty straight. One thing I did notice. I had the soft top up and windows up in 84 degree heat in the sun….When I got in this afternoon the out gassing of the spiderweb was quite over powering. I could feel in my eyes and throat. After I rolled down the windows and got going it cleared out. I am hoping the Out gassing wont last too long. Besides that we love it. and have gone topless twice since last night. There is no flap in it at 70MPH

I was finally able to put my spiderweb top on this weekend.

I am very pleased at how sturdy it is attached. That top isn’t going anywhere. There isn’t any noise at all from it and you hardly even notice it is there.

Thanks spiderweb It fits great and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would recommend this top to anyone.

Purchased the SW-1 for my LJ. so far , so good. Shipping was prompt and set up is easy. used this for my return trip from Fla., drove from Sarasota to savannah with top down, no back seat passengers so I cant really address the shade issue there. We had no noise issues, slippage or flapping problems. I love not having to fight with a hat for my bald head , no sunburn issues, and mama had no complaints.
I tried to drop the SW-1 down as a wind break, minimal effect due to shorter length, but it helped.
Overall, I’d rank this right up there with the Raingear cover and utility trailer as money well spent for ease of truck use.

I ordered the SW1 Wed. night after work and it’s here Monday afternoon. I originally tried the normal sun shade config on my TJ and I was a little bit cold on my first test drive cause it’s about 45 degrees and sunny. When my buddy with a 2008 JK came over to see if this’ll work on his we installed it on the JK and he liked it. Next we reconfigged it what wind style on my TJ under the middle roll bar and behind the seats. That test drive was awesome. What a difference! We were both amazed at the sensation of no wind at speed! I guess that’s why it’s called the “what wind” config. Now I’ll pick up my wife at the train station for the ultimate test! The outside temp is dropping quick! LOL

I got mine yesterday.

Chris is a good guy! I screwed up the shipping adress while placing the order. Chris shipped it back on his own dime!

The top is great for what it is intended to do. Craftsmanship is topnotch, and I am in the aircraft upholstery industry, so I know what I am looking for. It is more rugged than I figured it would be. I’m in vegas and it keeps the sun off me. I will be interested to see the SW3.

Ordered my SW2 Thursday afternoon and received it Monday afternoon. Threw it on about ten minutes ago and it looks super cool.

I want to thank Spiderweb for making available such a great product and everyone on here for the great reviews (and pointing me to the Shade Top in the first place) that lead me to purchase this.

Whenever I’m thinking of buying something for my Jeep I always check here first.

I love these forums.
